Your race weekend with Gian Luca – Here's how it works

A race weekend in the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany is more than just 30 minutes of racing action. It is motorsport you can touch, an experience filled with emotion, closeness, and a unique atmosphere. To ensure you know exactly how everything works, we have summarized the most important information for you here.

1. Your ticket – How to get on the track

To gain access to the race weekend, you need a ticket for the respective supporting event—for example, a DTM ticket if the Carrera Cup is racing in the DTM environment.

Important:
It doesn't matter which ticket category you choose to watch the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup live. Even a standing room ticket has its own special appeal—it allows you to move freely around the track, experience different perspectives, and feel the thrill of motorsport up close.

Tickets are sold by the respective organizers. You can access the relevant ticket pages directly via our website.
Parking tickets can usually be booked directly online.If you decide spontaneously or have not reserved a parking ticket in advance, it is usually possibleto purchase a parking space on site, provided that capacity is available.

2. Gian Luca Badge – Personal closeness to the team

All sponsors and guests will receive a Gian Luca badge from us. This will identify you to the team and give you access to our own small area in the paddock.

This is how the weekend is structured

Friday – Practice & Qualifying

Free practice and qualifying take place on Friday. This is where the foundations for the weekend are laid. You will experience firsthand how the setup is worked on and how the field prepares for the decisive races.

Saturday – Race Day 1

Saturday is often one of the most emotional days of the weekend. The first race is coming up—pure excitement from start to finish.
And there's plenty to do away from the track too: many organizers offer a varied program of events in the evening. Those who wish can relax and unwind at the end of the day or enjoy the motorsport atmosphere for a little longer.

Sunday – Race 2 & ideal departure day

The second race takes place on Sunday morning. Another 30 minutes of full throttle – often with decisive duels.
After that, it's the perfect time to head home, unless you want to watch the races in the supporting series.

More than just a race

The Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany takes place alongside major motorsport events. In addition to the cup itself, you can look forward to numerous other exciting series and races that make for a varied and highly attractive weekend.

So it's not just worth visiting because of Gian Luca—it's worth visiting for the complete motorsport experience.
