Red Bull Ring 2026 – First points and a step forward

After a difficult start to the season at Imola, Gian Luca Tüccaroglu was determined to finally turn his potential into results at the Red Bull Ring. The signs were promising—and that’s exactly what played out throughout the weekend.

Workouts – Consistency and Top-10 Pace

Gian Luca was already showing much more consistency as early as Thursday and Friday.
During practice sessions, he consistently secured a spot in the top 10 —a clear sign that the setup and his collaboration with Team75 Motorsport are working better and better.

We were heading in the right direction, we had confidence in the car—and the foundation for a solid qualifying session was laid.

Qualifying – Getting the most out of it

Qualifying once again demonstrated just how close the competition is in the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany.
Conditions were challenging for all drivers, and the small details made all the difference.

Starting from 12th on the grid in Race 1 and 11th in Race 2, Gian Luca made the most of the situation.
Especially in a field where a few tenths of a second can make all the difference, this was a clear step in the right direction.

Race 1 – Early exit at Turn 2

Unfortunately, the first race came to a quick end.
Early on, a chaotic situation broke out in the field at Turn 2, and Gian Luca got caught up in it.

The race was effectively over after just the first lap—a bitter setback, especially after such a promising weekend up to that point.

Race 2 – First points of the season

The positive trend continued in the second race.
He got off to a solid start, even though he wasn't able to make significant ground in the early stages.

As the race progressed, it settled into a relatively calm pace, with the field quickly sorting itself out and no major battles breaking out. Gian Luca maintained a steady position in the midfield and brought the car home safely.

In the end, they finished in 13th place —and earned their first points of the season.

An important result, especially in terms of overall progress.

Conclusion – A step forward, with a focus on more

The Red Bull Ring has shown that we're on the right track.

  • Consistent top-10 pace in training
  • Solid qualifying results
  • First points of the season
  • A much more stable weekend overall

At the same time, Gian Luca is self-critical and knows that there is still room for improvement.
The focus now is on continuing to work hard, becoming even more consistent, and managing risk strategically in order to take the next steps.

The trend is clearly visible.
Now the goal is to build on this momentum.

Looking ahead to the next races, motivation is high—and the goal is clear:to consistently finish in the points at
