The preseason test at Imola marked the next major step in preparations for the 2026 season. For Gian Luca Tüccaroglu and Team75 Motorsport, the main focus was on gaining a deeper understanding of the new overall package and finding the right setup for the new car.
Setup Work – In Search of the Perfect Feel
The focus of the two-day test was on intensive work on the setup. Together with the engineers from Team75 Motorsport, the team worked in every session to find the optimal setup for the car.
Step by step, I developed a better understanding of balance, braking, and traction. It was all about building confidence—and that feeling grew stronger with every lap.
Tough conditions on the second day
The second day of testing, however, presented the team with additional challenges.
Cool temperatures and even light snowfall meant that conditions were far from ideal.
The result: significantly reduced track time and fewer opportunities to complete the planned test programs. Especially during such a crucial phase of preparation, this is obviously not ideal—but at the same time, it’s just part of motorsports.
Important insights despite limited driving time
Despite the limited conditions, valuable data was collected. The sessions on the first day and the few laps on the second day provided important insights for further fine-tuning.

Conclusion – Looking forward to the start of the season
Even though not all of the planned test kilometers could be completed, the overall conclusion is clearly positive.
The groundwork has been laid, confidence is growing—and the outlook for the 2026 season is promising.
