Today, March 2, 2026, marks the official start of the 2026 season:
The newPorsche 911 Cupwas unveiled on the track for the first time as part of the official rollout in Barcelona.
The rollout is traditionally the moment when the entire technical package takes center stage. Representatives from teams, the media, and partner circles experience the new vehicle in its pure form—still without individual designs or sponsor branding.
All cars still in silver
As usual, the vehicles will have a neutral, silver appearance during the rollout.
The focus is deliberately on technology, chassis, and further development—not on colors or branding.
The individual designs of the teams and drivers will be presented at a later date.

First kilometers, first impressions
However, the rollout is not just a static presentation. For drivers and teams, it is above all one thing: a valuable opportunityto clock up those first important test kilometers.
Under controlled conditions, drivers can get used to the new vehicle, practice procedures, and develop an initial feel for balance, braking behavior, and traction. This phase is particularly crucial for a further developed vehicle such as the new Porsche 911 Cup.
This is where basic trust in the car is built—the foundation for everything that follows during the season.

The next step: Pre-season testing in Imola
The individual design premiere will follow atthe officialpre-season test on March 25 and 26, 2026, in Imola.
There, the vehicles will be driven for the first time in their final season look – includingGian Luca Tüccaroglu's personal design and partners.
Barcelona was the technical starting point.
Imola will be the first real performance test under racing conditions.
The 2026 season is picking up speed.
